You get familiar with equipment the first week
The first week of chemical tank driver orientation is a combination of classroom time and hands-on training at the corporate location
After spending the first few days in a classroom setting, a trainer brings a tractor so that everyone can begin familiarizing themselves with controls and settings.
All drivers stay at the same nearby hotel. Highway Transport provides drivers with transportation to and from class each day, and all meals are provided. A special company shuttle van picks up everyone together each morning at the hotel lobby.
Orientation class takes place at the corporate location, and everyone goes to lunch together each day using the van that takes everyone to a restaurant. At the end of the day (5:00 pm) the van takes everyone back to the hotel. If you have any questions, please call 865-584-8631.
Dress Code for Driver Orientation:
- No tank tops or muscle shirts
- No shorts or pajamas
- No sandals or flip-flops
