At Highway Transport’s location in Lake Charles, Louisiana, Laurie Doran (Service Center Manager) and her team invited community members, customers, and business associates into our place of business. Visitors met our owners and leaders. It was a great get-together for everyone to learn more about Highway’s liquid bulk transportation services.
The event was two-fold: Bringing people together + Responsible Care® session on chemical safety. Local fire dept. and first responders were glad to check out our state-of-the-art chemical tanker units. Customers and visitors toured the facility and met members of the Highway Transport safety team + our award-winning professional chemical tanker drivers.
Local Louisiana food and music and snow cones were enjoyed by all. The lunch food truck was Diamonique’s Mobile Soulfood Kitchen, and the imaginative snow cones were by LuLu’s Specialty Snocones.
We’re already looking forward to hosting the next Open House at the Highway Transport service center in Houston, Texas. Seeing everyone at these special get-togethers is a meaningful experience. Responsible Care® sessions are great for connecting with the local community to spread the message for chemical safety.
