Delaware Special Olympics Truck Convoy

Highway Transport professional chemical tanker driver David Lynch drives, and Highway is proud to serve as a sponsor and participant of the 20th Truck Convoy for Special Olympics. The tanker unit will serve in the Truck Convoy in support of the athletes of Special Olympics.
Here at Highway Transport, we are proud and excited to support the 2022 Truck Convoy for @Special Olympics Delaware (SODE). This event is driving change and delivering acceptance for thousands of Special Olympics athletes.
Check-In begins at 7:30 a.m. at the Delaware State Fairgrounds
Program begins at 9:30 a.m.
Trucks depart at 10:30 a.m.
HISTORY: Nationally, the convoy was founded in 2001 by Norm Schneiderhan, a corporal with Orange County (FL) Sheriff’s Department. Schneiderhan, whose family is involved with the trucking industry, was inspired by the powerful impact Special Olympics has had on his life.
