Highway Transport locations celebrate Christmas with meals at all trucking terminal locations. It’s never possible for our entire driving fleet to share a meal at the same time, but we still find a way to come together in a spirit of fellowship. Christmas meals are provided for all employees at most locations. Highway Transport Logistics in Knoxville holds an Ugly Christmas Sweater competition.
Service center managers try their best to make sure the food is served hot/warm. However, the La Porte service center typically orders giant sub sandwiches that can be served cool. Highway Transport locations with a small number of staff usually go to lunch together.

It is a longstanding tradition to send FISH Pantry Christmas Cards to each customer. FISH Hospitality Pantries is a non-profit interfaith organization serving Knoxville, Tennessee and Knox County for over 30 years. Hunger and food insecurity in East Tennessee is a year-round concern. Each $5 donation feeds a family of 4 for for 3 days. Customers receive a beautiful card telling them how many families have been fed in their name. See card below:
