Larry Edwards, fleet director of Highway Transport, captured this scene of an event taking place throughout Highway Transport shops nationwide…TAT decals being applied to the fleet of Highway Transport tractors.
scene: Andrew Green of the Highway Transport Knoxville shop is applying TAT decals for the Truckers Against Trafficking program. Throughout mid-March the decals will be sent out to all of Highway Transport shops with the location instructions, so they can begin the process of adhering the decals onto the fleet of tractors.
“TAT” is an acronym for “Truckers Against Trafficking.” Highway Transport is a gold level sponsor of this important program. The program depends on truck drivers on the front lines of the trucking industry to alert authorities if they see human trafficking happening. The decals are posted at eye level in order to reach out to victims of human trafficking.
